Greece National Meteorological Service EMY issued a weather warning until Monday, March 9. 2020. Main features of the weather deterioration are heavy rainfalls, strong thunderstorms. Hailstorms are expected locally.
Powerful South winds blowing with intensity of up to 7 and 8 Beaufort in the Ionian and the Aegean Sea.
The south winds will bring billion of particles of Sahara dust.
The bad weather front is coming from the North-West and will affect large parts of the country down to South-East.

North Ionian Sea, Epirus and West Sterea
West Macedonia form noon to late evening, Central Macedonia at night.
Sunday, Mar 8
Central Macedonia, as of noon also East Macedonia, Thrace and gradually in the afternoon also the islands of the central and north Aegean Sea.
Monday, Mar 9
Central Macedonia and later East Macedonia and Thrace, islands of the North and East Aegean Sea. By noon, the Sporades islands.
The Cyclades and Crete from morning until the afternoon.
Gradually also the Dodecanese as of Monday noon.
Late Monday evening, the weather phenomena will be limited to the Dodecanese and will gradually weaken.
