“We are being attacked by Turkey with migrants as a tool. We are in a war without bullets,” Deputy Defense Minister also in charge of Migration, Alkiviadis Stefanis said on Sunday. “Our national security is threatened,” he added.
Speaking to Open TV, Stefanis estimated that Turkey will increase pressure at the borders in Evros, “because Erdogan’s plan does not go according to plan.”
“We are ready to deal with all the pressure ” he stressed.
Asked about the possibility of a provocation or accident [that might push the two countries to the edges], Stefanis said “nothing scares us. We evaluate every action without excluding the possibility of a provocation or an accident. We will deal with Turkish provocations with calmness.”
Τhe situation at the Greek-Turkish border is calm on Sunday, after Turkey heavily fired of teargas against Greek security forces all through Saturday and until late at night, thus weaponizing migrants for its officially undeclared war.

IN another incident, Turkish authorities reportedly supplied migrants with iron wires engaraging them to bring down the border fence.

Greece and the Island have had a taken the brunt of this. THE EU must send Police and Troops to support them. No Country wants the violent illegal migrants …. just looking at the level of violence they are using why would they think they are wanted in the EU. There is no homes or benefits for them … the whole of the EU Stands together but ALL Countries MUST SUPPORT GREECE … they are fighting for their Country !!
Meanwhile North American media and humanitarian groups are painting Greece as the bad guy or impartially reporting like both sides are equal when it is Turkey who threw the human bomb forcing migrants to tresspass on another’s border while crying foul so dishonestly.
North American media needs to qualify their sources better and report the tru situation before their humanitarian ambitions foster the direct antithesis to empower the bad guy.
