Businessman Vangelis Marinakis, owner of FC Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest, revealed on Tueday that he has been tested positive on coronavirus.In posts on his social media accounts, Marinakis, wrote:
“The well-known virus has ‘visited’ me and I felt obliged to make this public. I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and am complying with the doctors’ instructions. I advise all my fellow citizens to do the same. A speedy recovery to us all.”

Marinakis was in London for two weeks and returned on Monday.
His announcement caused concern not only in Greece but also in UK. Both Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest players are reportedly being checked on coronavirus.

Early Tuesday afternoon, Nottingham Forest issued a statement, saying that “Mr Marinakis was diagnosed after showing the first symptoms on his return to Greece.”
“During his stay in Nottingham he did not show any symptoms of the virus,” the statement said adding “the club are seeking advice from medical professionals and the relevant governing bodies to ensure the correct measures are taken.”
