Millions of mobile owners in Greece were shocked to hear multiple shrill beeps coming from their phones on Wednesday night. It was the Greek Civil Protection alerting them about coronavirus and measures they should use to avoid spread of the virus.
The messages were in Greek and English.
However, many complained on social media that they have not received the message.
The Civil Protection confirmed on Thursday that a 10% did not.
The CP advises people to go to the online platform of emergency number <112> and follow the instructions.
