Violations of lockdown in Greece have amounted to 13,195 since the measure was imposed on March 23. According to a statement by Greek Police, a total of 2,561 violation were recorded only on Tuesday, March 31.
Violations usually refer to going out without filling up the the Permit forms printed, handwritten or per sms, not carrying identification documents, violating the 2-people in cars limit and having declare a false reason to be out of home.
Violators are fined with 150 euros.
At the same time, police continues to control businesses that are not allowed to allowed to open since March 12. Violators are fined and face prison sentences.
The majority of lockdown violation on Tuesday were recorded in Attica and Athens 1,051.

On Tuesday, police arrested 9 people for operating their businesses despite the ban.
The number of arrests was two in Epirus, two in Thessaly, two in South Aegean, one in Attica, one in Thessaloniki and one on Crete.
Police said that a total of 326 persons have been arrested for illegality operating their businesses since March 12.
One week after the lockdown and it seems that Greek are showing first signs of fatigue as violations increased on March 30 (2,193) and March 31 (2,561). Over the weekend, recorded violations were 1,835 on Sunday and 1,400 on Saturday.

I wonder whether the neighborhood farmers’ markets will be closed as well. Ours (Ampelokipi) was open last Saturday. If they are to be closed, is there some financial support for the vendors?
