Coronavirus: Front-line healthworkers in Kozani hospital send inspiring messages

The public general hospital in Kozani, West Macedonia, is in the heart of the fight against the coronavirus, as the region has been severely affected by the pandemic and has a sad deaths record.

In the general hospital Mamatsio, it is not locals infected with COVID-19 hospitalized there but also from the broader are like Kastoria.

Doctors and nurses have joined their voices in a video with positive messages amid the worst pandemicthat has hit the world in the last 100 years.

“We are not afraid”, “I stay at home”, “I don’t spread the virus, “Patience”, “Optimism” the frontline workers send to Greeks, are some of the messages urging Greeks to comply with the health authorities instructions.

The video was posted by the director of the Cardiology Clinic of Mamatsio, Stelios Lambropoulos on his Facebook account.

14 people infected with COVID-19 died in the last 24 hours, four of them on Saturday morning. Death toll has reached 67.

During the daily briefing on Friday afternoon, health authorities announced 6 more deaths. Four more people died until the midnight and another four until Saturday morning.

The number of confirmed cases was 1,613.
