Greece’s health authorities announced 62 new confirmed cases and 5 more deaths on Sunday. In statement, authorities said that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases across the country is 1,735, while the death toll has reached 73.
54.9% of the total case are men.
83 patients are intubated,
Ten patients have been discharged form hospitals.
Among the 73 dead were 21 women.
The majority of the deceased had underlined serious health issues.
A total of 25,453 tests have been conducted since the coronavirus outbreak end of February, the statement said.
The Civil Protection decided on Sunday additional lockdown measures for the island of Mykonos, after a second COVID-19 case was confirmed. Additional measures have been imposed on Santorini too, although no known confirmed case.
