Two new confirmed COVID-19 cases and two more deaths have raised the death toll to 165 and the number of total infections to 2,836, Greece health authorities announced on Monday evening. 55.1% of the infections affect men.
Of the total infections 616( 21.7%) are related to travel abroad and 1,473 (51.9%) are related to confirmed cases in Greece.
24 patients are intubated in hospitals Intensive Care Units. Their average age is 72. Nine (37.5%) among them are women.
91.7% of the intubated patients have underlying health issues or are over 70 years old.
A total of 90 patients have been discharged from ICUs since the beginning of the outbreak.
Among the 162 deceased were 47 (28.5%) women.
The average age of the deceased was 75.
93.9% had some underlying health problems and /or were over 70 years old.
A total of 131,684 tests have been conducted since the outbreak in Greece in late February.
