1.14 billion euros for Greece’s SMEs affected by the pandemic crisis

The European Commission has approved a total of 1.14 billion euros for small and medium-sized enterprises in Greece that have been negative affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Monday that the European Commission’s approval of some 1.14 billion euros’ worth of program modifications for Greece are expected to benefit approximately 90,000 small and medium-sized enterprises against the negative effects of the coronavirus crisis.

The Minister was speaking about the record-time approval of thirteen 2014-2020 Regional Operational Programmes and two national Operational Programmes in Greece.

These modifications make 1.14 billion available to address the effects of the coronavirus crisis in the Greek economy through the funding of entrepreneurship support actions.
