Greece’s health authorities announced on Monday 320 new coronavirus cases and 19 more deaths in the last 24 hours. The number of Covid-19 patients intubated in hospitals across the country stands at 322.
Death toll has reached 5,488 and the total cases stand at 148,925.
Again the number of tests in the last 24 were a few thousands less than on weekdays due to …Sunday.
Also because of Sunday, no vaccinations took place.

Total vaccinations so far: 85,223 with average in the last 7 days to be 5,083.
During the live briefing on Monday, health authorities said that another 49,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine arrived in Greece.
After 2.5 months of lockdown, retail stores opened with specific restrictions and rules on Monday and hundreds of Greeks took the opportunity for shopping despite the freezing temperatures.

According to the official daily bulletin on Monday, 5763(3.9%) of the total coronavirus cases are related to travel abroad and 45578 (63.7%) are related to already known infection case.
The remaining infections are without known source.
52.1% of the infected are men.
.The number of intubated patients in ICUs stands at 322 from 320 a day earlier. Their average age is 68, among them are 231(71.7%) men. 87.3% have underlying health problems or are aged over 70.
1,031 people have been discharged from ICUs since the start of the pandemic in Greece.
Another 19 deaths in the last 24 hours increased death toll to 5488. Of the deceased 3234(58.9%) were men. The average age of the deceased was 79 and 95.4% of them had an underlying condition or/and was over 70 years old.
