Two moderate earthquakes jolted Nafpaktos in western Greece on Wednesday morning. The first tremor hit with 4.9 R at 05:30 in the morning. Its epicecenter was 11 km southwest of Nafpaktos and its focal depth 5 km.
The earthquake was felt in many areas in West mainland and Peloponnese such as in Achaia, Corinth, Aitoloakarnania, and Fokida.
The earthquake hit with 4.1 R an hour later.
Its epicenter was located 13 km east of Nafpaktos and its focal depth was 8 km.
No injuries or damages have been reported.

So far, 12 aftershocks from 2.1R to 4.1R have been recorded and seismologists appear reassuring about the development of the phenomenon that is considered in the context of the general seismic activity that started one and half month ago.
