Head of Greece’s Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias updated the epidemiological map of the country and place more regional units into tougher lockdown, extended the tougher restrictions in others.
Regions & Municipalities that remain at very high risk level (deep red):
Regions:
Attica, Aitoloakarnania, Achaia, Viotia, Evia except Skyros, Fthiotida, Evrytania, Argolida, Arcadia, Corinth, Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Thesprotia, Heraklio, Lesvos, Zakynthos and Mykonos.
Municipalities:
Kalymnos, Chios, Anogia (Rethymno), Chania (Chania), Ioannina, Metsovo, Katerini, Amfip[olis, Skiathos, Karditsa, Kastoria, Orestiada
It is worth noting that Evritania, Arcadia, Chios, Anogia and Skiathos show an improvement in their epidemiological picture. A development that, if continued in the coming days, will allow these areas to emerge from the level of very high risk (deep red) next week.

Municipalities: Grevena, Kilkis, Veria
Regarding Leros and the Municipal Community of Galatini of the Municipal Unit of Askio of the Municipality of Voio of the Peripheral Unit of Kozani, it is reminded that these areas are and remain in a special regime of additional restrictive measures and a state of emergency civil protection.
However, suspension of construction work currently in force on Leros is lifted from Monday, March 29, 2021.
Note that a nationwide lockdown has been imposed since November 7, 2021. Restrictions are tougher in areas declared “deep red”, while general restrictions are imposed in all other areas marked as simple “red.”
Hardalias urged citizens to be patient and said that “thanks to the vaccination, we will be able to safely return to favorite habits that we have missed, in the company of our loved ones.”
With an average of over 2,300 new confirmed coronavirus cases on daily basis in the last few weeks, dozens of deaths and hundreds of Covid-19 patients in ventilators Greece had to postpone its plans to gradually lift the lockdown that has exhausted citizens and businesses.

Thank you Marci. What you say is very true: there are many people in smaller municipalities especially that are dependent on KTG to know something besides Attica and Thessaloniki numbers.
But what Otto is saying is true, we will never and I mean the world be rid of Covid 19, they now say flu has disappeared,but, it has been renamed Covid Sars19, soon it will be Covid 25,26,28,30, it is something we will have to learn to live with, unfortunately, but, Life will go on, as it has since the days of Black Death and various Plagues
So what are the tougher measures going to be?
And where can I find the actual map? The one here https://covid19.gov.gr/covid-map/ is over one week old, so not very actual.
