  1. Compared to other countries, Greece has the whole situation more under control than most. I’m happy about that. Last year, I felt very safe to travel the islands, and I know it’ll be the same this year.

    • Yeah, you are safe while travelling, because the locals were and are forbidden to do so. And after tourists are gone, numbers are up and the following lockdown will be even stronger. And the locals will hear again, that it is their so called lifestyle which is to blame: local village celebrations, their habits and marriages. Doesn’t that obviously feel more than ridiculous?
What would happen to Germany, if some swiss-guys were allowed to happyly travel Schloss Schwanstein, Mittelrheintal followed by Sylt and Rügen, before visiting Berlin while Locals are forbidden to go out and are exposed to brute Police Force + Fines up to 3000€ for going to the bakery wrong side of the street, but trapped in jobs serving these travellers?
      And then we woke up.

I am really sorry being so bitter.

Als deutscher Tourist im Ausland steht man vor der Frage, ob man sich anständig benehmen muss oder ob schon deutsche Touristen dagewesen sind.

      • When you elect a government (and this applies to any country) which is more interested in money than in its people, and also attaches more importance to certain other countries’ politicians than to its own people, you have a problem. Hint: this is not called democracy.
