Greece’s National Vaccination Committee has announced on Friday that the vaccination program should continue with any available vaccine, including the one of AstraZeneca and for people over 30 years old.
The risk of serious infection and death from COVID-19 is far higher than the risk of thrombosis with low platelet count after the vaccination, especially for age groups over 30, the National Vaccination Committee said.
The decision was taken during a meeting and after evaluation of the available data.
