An elderly man was stabbed and robbed after he complained to a group of youngsters about a so-called corona-party that was taking place in a popular square in Nea Smyrni suburb of south Athens.
The 60-year-old victim was transported to the hospital where he received first aid.
The incident took place at the dawn when the man who lives nearby walked to the group of youngsters and complained about the noise and the crowding. He reportedly threatened them to call the police.
One young man from the crowd pulled out a knife and attacked him injuring him in the the leg and at the same time he robbed the victim.
Police evaluates material from security cameras and testimonies that will lead them to the traces of the perpetrators of the unprecedented attack.
