Greece’s health authorities announced on Monday evening 1,402 new coronavirus cases and 56 Covid-related deaths in the last 24 hours. The number of intubated patients has decreased further to 647.
Again PCR and Rapid tests were thousands less than the average due to the weekend.

Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed 378,485 infections (daily change: +0.4%). In the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 38 infections are related to travel from abroad and 2324 to other confirmed cases.
51.2% of the infected are men.
There are 56 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of pandemic victims to 11,471. Of these, 95.5% had an underlying condition and/or were 70 years old.
A total of 647 Covid-patients -from 656 a day earlier – are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 67 years. 62.6% are men. 83% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or more.
2,287 patients have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
318 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: +10.8%). The average admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 313.

The median age of new infections is 44 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 79 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
