The third and last supermoon in 2021 will take place on Thursday night, June 24, 2021. This full moon is traditionally known as the “Strawberry Moon”, because it falls at a time when the ripe strawberries are being harvested.
On average, supermoons appear about 7 percent bigger and about 15 percent brighter than a typical full moon.
