Greece Covid-Map updated: Which regions improve or worsen “risk status”

Greece’s authorities announced upgrades and downgrades on the epidemiological Covid-map of the country based on the infections in the last seven days.

Head of Civil Protection and deputy Minister for Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias announced the changes during the lived-briefing on Thursday.

The changes are:

The Regional  Unit of Mykonos rises one level and is transferred from Yellow to Orange (Level 3).

The Regional Units of Larissa, Evia and West Attica go from Orange to Yellow (Level 2).

The Regional Units of Drama, Kavala, Imathia, Thessaloniki, Grevena, Florina, Trikala, Corfu, Aitoloakarnania, Achaia, Ilia, Viotia, Fthiotida, Argolida, Arcadia, Laconia and Messinia are been moved to Green (Level 1)

The Municipality of Lipsi increases its risk level and is transferred to Yellow (Level 2).

The Municipalities of Skyros and Salamina are transferred to Green (Level 1).

At the same live-briefing, health experts said that the downward trend of the course of the pandemic seems to have been halted. Member of the epidemiologists committee Vana Papaevangelou pointed out at an increasing trend on some Greek islands.

The Civil Protection issued new Covid-regulations for traveling to/from Greek islands that go into force on July 5.
