High temperatures above the average for this time of year will prevail in Greece over the next few days, according to Athens National Observatory’s meteo service forecast on Friday. Temperature will be up to 6-7 degrees Celsius higher than the average in the month of November.
The movement of hot masses of air from Africa to Greece will raise temperatures until Monday at least, while Eastern Europe in general will be the hottest part of Europe.

Sahara dust
Atmospheric conditions in the next few days will favour the transfer of dust from northern Africa, mostly to the western parts of Greece where the concentrations will be high.
