Schools, kindergartens and nurseries in Attica will remain closed also on Thursday, January 27, the regional government decided on Wednesday, following the aftermath of snowstorm Elpis.
According to the decision, primary and secondary schools as well as nurseries and kindergartens will remain closed on Thursday to “prevent accidents and better protect the children’s safety.”
The closure is reportedly the result of consultations of the regional government with municipalities.
Morning classes will take place via online learning on Jan 27-28, 2022. in all areas affected by the snow weather, the Civil Protection said in a statement issued a bit later.
