Coronavirus cases increased to 15,690 in the past 24 hours, Greece’s health authorities announced on Tuesday,Of them were reinfections. The number of deaths remains high and 64 covid-patients died in the same 24 hours. The number of intubated Covid-patients in hospitals across the country stands at 356.

Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed 3,195,887 infections (daily change: +0.5%).
The number of possible new re-infections in the last 24 hours is 362, while the total number of re-infections since the start of SARS-CoV-2 is estimated to 119.314 (3.6% of the total confirmed infections.)
64 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours brought the total of pandemic victims to 28,274. Of these, 95.4% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or over.
356 patients are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 70 years, 65.2% are men and 92.7% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total in ventilation, 54.49% are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 45.51% are fully vaccinated.
4,531 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
270 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: -13.74%). The average daily admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 339.
The median age of new infections is 36 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 79 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
