Coronavirus case rose to 10,005 in the last 24 hours, Greece’s health authorities announced on Tuesday. Covid-related deaths recorded at the same time are 46. The number of intubated Covid-patients fell for the first time since months below 300 and now stands at 298.

Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed 3,251,248 infections (daily change: +0.3%).
The number of possible new re-infections in the last 24 hours is 222.
Note that the re-infelctions are not incorporate to the daily confirmed cases.
46 deaths brought the total of pandemic victims to 28,701. Of these, 95.5% had an underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or over.
298 patients are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 70 years, 65.2% are men and 93.3% have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or over.
Of the total in ventilation, 56.04% are unvaccinated or partly vaccinated and 43.96% are fully vaccinated.
4,575 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
208 Covid-19 patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours (daily change: +22.35%). The average daily admission of patients with Covid-19 to hospitals over the last 7 days was 237.
The median age of new infections is 36 years (range: 0.2 to 106 years), while the median age of the deceased is 79 (range: 0.2 to 106 years).
