Metro station <Panepistimio> in downtown Athens will remain closed from 9:00 a.m. and until further notice on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, by order of the police, due to the events on the anniversary of the assassination of teenager Alexandros Grigoropoulos in 2008.
Metro trains will pass through the station without stopping.
According to an announcement by Greek Police ELAS, traffic regulations are also expected in the center of Athens during the noon and early evening due to two protest rallies.
The protests are schedule at 12 noon and 6 o’ clock in the evening.
Police asks motorists to avoid driving and parking their vehicles in the wider area of the event venues.
