Temperatures in Greece will gradually rise up to 37 degrees Celsius in some regions, some 4° C above the seasonal average, meteorologists forecast.
According to the meteo service of the National Observatory of Athens, the rise is forecast to reach its peak of 36° and 37° on Friday and Saturday, June 23-24, 2023.
However, there would be a weather deterioration on Sunday and Monday, June 25-26, with rainfalls and slight temperatures drop.

The areas where the temperature will be higher than the average climate value are shaded in orange/red and the areas where it will be lower in blue/blue. As can be seen in this, the temperature deviation at a height of 1500 meters will exceed 4 degrees Celsius in places.
