Mysterious lights appeared in the night sky over the islands of Evia and Rhodes on Sunday, July 16, 2023. The lights appeared and disappeared having locals and tourists wondering about the phenomenon. the lights weren’t neither UFOS nor riding or fallen angels as some suggested but Εlon Musk’s Starlink SpaceX satellites.
Locals rushed to capture the moment and asked on social media what this mysterious phenomenon where the lights suddenly disappeared was.

One user noted that “the satellites are illuminated by the reflection of the sun and you think it has lights and that’s why after a while they disappear into the darkness.”

I saw the same on Corfu sky in the last week of June, clearly different from airplane lights, and quite huge.
