Three people, among them two minors, were stabbed in Saroko area on the island of Corfu in broader daylight early Wednesday afternoon.

The bloody incident between minor students took place in front of passers-by in Saroko Square around 2 o’ clock, local media reported.

The incident started with an argument between two students aged 14 and 17 and thus for allegedly a trivial reason.

According to eyewitnesses, their verbal fight ended in a bloody attack, when the older student pulled out a knife and attacked the other.

A 49-year-old man, a passer-by, and a 17-year-old student who tried to separate the two were also injured.

Two ambulances rushed to the scene and took the 14-year-old student who was attacked and injured in his leg, as well as the  the 17-year-old who went to separate them and the middle-aged man to the hospital.

The perpetrator was reportedly out of control.

At the time of the incident, a large number of people, mainly students, were in the square as it was schooling time.
