, which will act as a digital travel assistant for visitors to Greece and beyond, was presented on Monday by Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni at a special event in the National Gallery, in the presence of the Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou.
The application, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Governance, works as a digital travel assistant and uses artificial intelligence technology, providing the user with an interface that can offer a wealth of useful information.
“mAiGreece” will initially offer support in 31 languages, ensuring that travelers from all over the world can get help in their own language.
The application acts as a personalized travel companion to all visitors and provide them with all information they need in order to enjoy their stay in Greece.
The application is easy to use and will go live on June 10, 2024.
Travelers will be able to chat with “ mAiGreece” by submitting their question in natural language, written or spoken.
Using geo-location technology (GPS) “mAIGreece” will offer information depending on the area in which the visitors are located.
Speaking at the presentation event, Digital Governance Minister, Dimitris Papastergiou, stressed among others that the app will offer also assistance digital application will be there in difficult times such as when a visitor loses his passport or wallet.
