The pilot of a Mirage 2000-5 fighter jet successfully ejected from the aircraft early Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 13:46 on Monday, while the jet was taxiing after landing at the Hellenic Air Force’s 114 Combat Wing, at Tanagra air base.
The female pilot was taken to the 251 General Air Force Hospital as a precaution.
According to the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, the M2000-5 was returning from a training flight.
According to some media reports, the pilot realized there was some problem with the brakes.
The Mirage 2000-5 is off the runway, there is no sign of some damage except some very minor ones on its right part.
