EODY advises vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and those with underlying health conditions, to strictly follow respiratory infection prevention measures.
It also recommends seeking prompt medical advice upon experiencing symptoms to ensure timely treatment.
Last week, only one hospital in Athens, the oncology hospital of Metaxas, introduced again protection measures such as mandatory use of masks and tests for patients and accompanying persons.
Health experts attribute the rise of Covid-19 to the relaxed behavior and massive transport of citizens in summer, the Air-Conditions, and the no use of mask.
