“Prince of Wales” sailors have fun naked in Chania port (VIDEO)

British sailors have walked naked in the Venetian Port of Chania on the island of Crete disturbing bystanders and probably thinking they are in a country where nobody gets punished. The sailors of the aircraft carrier “Prince of Wales” of the British Navy were probably drunk.

Crew members of the aircraft carrier “Prince of Wales” were in Chania for a week and the 1,650 crew members found time to have fun and let it all out a bit…

Some, however, let it out more than the others. The images published by local media zarpanews.gr caused a disgraceful impression for the British Navy as the sailors appeared to be drunk and walking and having fun naked around the port.

After strong remarks from the bystanders, they left.

However, businessmen at the Venetian Port of Chania have complained, there are often frequent incidents of drunken sailors from the foreign  aircraft carriers docking nearby and who visit the port and the town of Chania. “Fortunately the incidents are not very serious,” the businessmen reportedly said.

KTG can recall some incidents of US Navy sailors in Chania that had triggered an outrage,

so far, that is Sunday evening, the commander of the “Prince of Wales” has not issued yet any statement with an apology or any punishment imposed to these cheeky sailors.
