An earthquake rattled the island of Zakynthos – Zante – with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale early Friday evening.
The earthquake hit the island in the Ionian Sea at 19:25 local time.

Its epicenter was in the sea area, 60 km South-West of Strofades, and its focal depth has been estimated at 10 km.
