The Larissa Appeals Prosecutor accepted the requests of the father on hunger strike Panos Ruci and of other Tempi victims families for exhumation of their beloved ones as well as for toxicological and biochemical tests.
The exhumation requests by relatives of Tempi accident victims for toxicology and biochemical tests were accepted by the Larissa Appeals Prosecutor on Monday.
The prosecutor’s office pulled out of the archives an old case file against medical examiners that provided a legal resolution allowing exhumation and toxicological tests, just as the Panos Routsi and the Aslanidis, Karystianos, and Konstantinidis families have requested. The families had filed against the examiners for not conducting toxicological tests and it case was …archived.
Based on this development, Larissa prosecutorial authorities is further briefing lawyers of all families of victims that they too may submit requests for exhumations and laboratory tests
In addition, if any findings result from these tests, a separate case file is expected to be drawn up in order that they may be investigated independently.
Panos Ruci won
Panos Rutsi, the father of 23-year-old Dennis who has been outside the Parliament on hunger strike, emerged as a winner from the fight he fought.
He forced the state, the government and the judges to do two repeated “backflips” within a few days. He invalidated their argument that the government does not interfere in the justice system and irreparably exposed the “independent” judges” and all these scientists and ND-affiliated journalists who have been explained why the exhumation could not take place.
Along with Ruci, the relatives of all 57 Tempi victims, who have filed similar requests, also won and those who did not file requests can do it now.
However, being rightly suspicious of government’s decisions and the execution by the Justice, Ruci said that he will continue his hunger strike until the decisions are being fully implemented.

This is great news and I hope Panos Ruci will have a good hot meal soon.
I also hope they ask for second toxology tests to verify the first in another country not affiliated with West, like South Africa or Uruguay….
I pray he gets the answers that he and other families deserve 🙏
