Ships docked at Attica ports due to 24h strike, Oct 14

Ships will remain docked at the ports of Attica and no departures will take place due to a 24-hour strike on Tuesday, October 14,2025.

Τhe Panhellenic Union of Merchant Marine Engineers (PEMEN) and the Panhellenic Union of Merchant Marine Seamen (PENEN) declared a 24-hour strike across ports in Attica on Tuesday, October 14,2025.

The strike, which will begin at 00:01 and end at 23:59 on the same day, is expected to affect ship departures from the ports of Attica, the unions said in a statement said.

The two unions join the 24-hour nationwide called by the civil servants union ADEDY in protest against the government’s new labor bill, which, will legalized the 13-hour working day.

Note that the Panhellenic Seamen Union PNO has not taken position on the mobilization still on Friday, October 10.
