Hospital doctors in Greece have declared a 48-hour strike on November 6-7, following a decision by the Federation of Hospital Doctors’ Unions (OENGE).
The doctors will hold a rally at the Ministry of Health on Friday, at noon, while they are also demanding a meeting with the political leadership of the Ministry of Health.
The Panhellenic Association of Medical Laboratory Technologists (POERGI) has also announced nationwide labor action on Friday, November 7, seeking immediate solutions to the problem caused by clawback. All private medical laboratories in the country will remain closed.
Employees in public hospitals are also participating in the nationwide health strike.
