An elderly couple have been found dead in their home in Elefsina, western Attica, at noon on Thursday. Dead inside the house have been found also the two dogs of the couple.
Authorities suspect a gas leak.
Police were alerted to the scene by the couple’s daughter.
Both victims were 79 years old.
Initial police investigations have found no evidence of criminal activity.
However, experts examined whether the leak came from a heating device or other means.
