Minor problems on some coastal routes were caused the strong winds blowing in many maritime areas of the country on Wednesday, reaching 9 to 10 on the Beaufort scale.
According to the Greek Coast Guard, routes from the port of Piraeus to the Saronic Gulf were being operated exclusively by conventional ships and at the discretion of the captains, due to adverse weather conditions.
Ferry services are running in the Volos-Sporades lines, as well as on the Arkitsa-Edipsos and Kavala-Prinos lines.
Passengers who are planning to travel on Wednesday are advised to contact their local port authorities and tourist agencies before departure, in order to be informed of any changes or modifications to the scheduled journeys
