Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair takes on the role of Senior Advisor to Antenna Group, the Greek leading international media, entertainment and investment organization announced on Tuesday.
Tony Blair takes on the role of Senior Advisor to Antenna Group, in view of the preparation of the Europe–Gulf Forum, which will be held in May 2026 in Greece. This collaboration takes place at a time when Antenna is dynamically expanding its international presence, implementing the vision of its President, Theodoros Kyriakou, to strengthen dialogue and authoritative information worldwide, the group said in a statement.
The Europe – Gulf Forum is organized by Antenna Group, in collaboration with the Atlantic Council, the leading US think tank. This strategic initiative has received strong support from political and business leaders in Europe and the Gulf. This is yet another important dialogue platform promoted by Antenna, which will bring together political, business and institutional leaders, aiming at lasting and meaningful cooperation between Europe and the Gulf — two key regions that together shape a framework of geopolitical and investment opportunities.
At the same time, Antenna Group is steadily expanding its presence in Europe and the United States, with a strong capital base and a successful 30-year track record of investing and developing media internationally. In this context, Tony Blair’s unique geopolitical experience is expected to bring substantial added value to Antenna Group.
Thodoris Kyriakou, Chairman of Antenna Group, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Tony Blair to the position of Senior Advisor to Antenna Group. His extensive experience in managing key international issues, his deep diplomatic knowledge, and our shared values—integrity and connecting people for progress—are a valuable asset to us. His membership strengthens the strategic reach of the Europe–Gulf Forum, an initiative we organize in partnership with the Atlantic Council, which reflects our firm belief that dialogue builds trust, creates opportunities, and brings people and countries closer together. Our shared goal is to shape a platform with a clear perspective and a meaningful footprint, for Europe, the Gulf, and the world.”
Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, said: “The Europe-Gulf Forum is a particularly important and timely initiative, and I look forward to working closely with Theodore Kyriakou and the Antenna Group to make it happen, with the aim of bringing Europe and the Gulf closer together. In a time of increasing global polarization, Antenna is leading the effort to connect societies and reduce rivalries. The Forum is a meaningful initiative for the future. Europe and the Gulf share deep strategic interests and have significant scope for cooperation.”
