Cyprus has become a target for Iran, with the Revolutionary Guards threatening the island with greater strikes. A senior official in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has threatened to intensify missile strikes against Cyprus, claiming that the US has significantly increased its military presence on the island, according to Iranian media.
General Sardar Jabbari, as reported by the Khabar Fouri agency, claimed that Washington has transferred most of its aircraft to Cyprus, warning that such a development would provoke a harsh reaction.
“The Americans have relocated the majority of their aircraft to Cyprus; we will launch so many missiles at Cyprus that they will be forced to flee from there as well,” the general reportedly threatened.
