Two injured fox cubs were found in a park of Peristeri suburbs of western Athens. The one didn’t make it as it succumbed to its injuries. The other is being taking care of by the Wildlife Protection association ANIMA.
The fox cubs were very young and both had injuries probably by some animal.
The Wildlife Protection and Care Association “ANIMA” pointed out that the “very young fox cub” was found with its sibling in the middle of the Peristeri Grove playground.

Their presence there is “proof that urban foxes are born in the city and do not come down from the surrounding mountains,” ANIMA said in a post on FB.
According to ANIMA, “these poor things were unlucky, because another animal probably grabbed them, as they had wounds on their little bodies. The little brother didn’t make it. We are fighting for this one to survive, with a few drops of milk every two hours, warmth and whatever else is needed.”
