An unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was spotted flying on Wednesday over Larissa in central Greece.Speculations are high on whether the object, a drone, was a U.S. stealth technology B-2 Spirit, a B-21 Raider or a RQ-180.
According to local media onlarissa.gr speculations and its exclusive footage and report, the object is a U.S. stealth technology object that landed at the airport of the 110th Combat Wing and has been making the rounds in Greece since Tuesday.
Citing military sources, the local media wrote that the landing in Larissa was due to a technical failure and that it will remain grounded until it is repaired and then will depart.

The B-2 Spirit incorporates low observability technology (stealth) that allows it to avoid most modern radars. It was developed by Northrop Grumman during the Cold War, with the aim of penetrating heavily fortified airspace and carrying out missions of high strategic importance.
Its distinctive “flying wing” shape is not only visually impressive, but also functional, as it drastically reduces its radar signature. The B-2 can carry a wide variety of weapons, both conventional and nuclear, and has the ability to perform long-range missions without refueling, while with aerial refueling its operational range becomes practically global.
According to other media speculations, the object’s shape does not match known operational aircraft, except for the B-21 Raider, which is not yet in service.
This aircraft seen over Larissa, Greece is not a B-2 like the local Greek news reported or an RQ-170, but is in fact best imagery ever published of the RQ-180, an undisclosed low observable drone used by the USAF. It has been speculated that the aircraft could be the RQ-180, a next-generation stealth ISR platform believed to be developed by Northrop Grumman under the Penetrating ISR (P-ISR) program. Its existence has never been officially acknowledged, and it has not been publicly documented in prior sightings.
