Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis’ visit to Tripoli, Libya, has been postponed due to extreme weather warnings, the ministry said Tuesday.
The visit was scheduled for April 1, where the minister would meet officials of the Government of National Unity.
Gerapetritis traveled to Benghazi last Saturday where he met with Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, commander of the Libyan National Army, and attended the inauguration of Greece’s new general consulate building in the city.
