Muammar Gaddafi together with family members, close friends, first degree relatives and clan leaders has asked asylum in Greece. Several Gaddafi’s envoys have already make the necessary arrangements so the Arabs on exile will find comfort and leisure on the beautiful island of Crete. A huge summer resort is apparently ready to welcome the cohort at the 50-souls village of Livyadia. According to one envoy, the Libyan leader expressed the wish to reside on the south coast of the island so that he can enjoy a panoramic view of his beloved Libyan desert from the third floor balcony.
However there is still digging work going on to make it easy for the Libyan leader to reach the balcony from his colourful tent to the balcony. Two allied forces C-130 have already carried Libyan sand to the village.
It has not been known whether Gaddafi has offered a trade “asylum for money” to help the debt-driven country.
The numerous entourage is expected to land at Souda bay military base later today – at April Fool’s Day!
