Greece’s Monday morning blues

Monday morning I turn on the TV to watch the ‘latest news’ and the the agenda of the week ahead. Monday morning, I realized, Greece is in the same stage we left it on Friday evening. Minus some assets, like the burned down cars by angry anarchists on Sunday.

#Greece’s political and economic agenda remains the same:

Greece’s prior actions, creditors’ review and debt relief

Greece’s attempt to catch tax evaders with the “All assets declared” order

Greece’s upcoming pension and supplementary pension cuts with rates varying from 105 – to x%

Greece’s upcoming taxes on fuel and vehicles traffic fees

Greece’s new tax of the week

Greece’s government and the opposition that opposes everything for the sake of opposition but fails to produce sustainable solutions to the notorious problem of this country

Greece’s habit to chew old chewing gums and trying to find improvised solutions to systemic problems

I slowly consider changing the blog’s name into “I’m fed up with Greece”

PS – just kidding.

But things aren’t as blue as they seem to be. As someone noted on Twitter:

‘As no-one screwed up massively anything since last Friday— that’s positive development, isn’t it?’

Now it’s Monday noon, so let’s “Keep Talking,Greece” 🙂
