Whot? Eight out of ten Greek women cheat on their partners? Apparently that’s the bitter truth. The survey was conducted over a period of two years by the Andrology Institute of Athens among 2,000 couples.
A team of experts tried to find out the reasons of female infidelity and capture the sexual equality between the two sexes.
According to survey findings, the female is at 78% while the male rates are only slightly higher at 84%.
Ctiting the chairman of the Institute, Greek media rpeort that while for men infidelity is for rather social reasons “to prove their manhood”, for women the reasons are rather rational and strategic.
“In the romantic definition of female infidelity, women are like Madame Bovary. But the biological truth is that they seek to bring to the world healthy offspring. Women are born to be unfaithful, while men are infidel in order to defend their fragile masculinity.
Nature has arranges that the woman seeks for the father-lover for the children she wants to have.”
Among other nice findings, we read also that one of the reasons that a woman cheats on her partner is to punish him.
In general we read that while male infidelity is rather superficial, for women infidelity in born in the head and therefore more deep and better calculated.
Another important point is that men consider female infidelity to be a serious issue.
Point is that while the survey findings apparently overturns the general belief that “men are more infidel than women” the reason’s explanation by the experts is full of cliches and platitudes – and reference to classical literature figures like Medea, Othello -. Not a single survey data like age groups, education, income levels, and other information about the survey respondents, not statistical findings about the reasons why the women cheat. At least, they have not been reported on the Greek online media.
Scrolling down the 1o reasons, I was expecting to read about the Kiss of the Spider Woman and the Black Widow… but a female Beast sprang out of my PC screen and I was rescued. Also the cat was meowing loud too that the chicken in the oven was ready roasted.
