Extra monthly fee 6.2% on landlines and internet bills as of 1.1.2017

The General Secretary of Public Revenues sent a circular to landline and internet providers in Greece asking them to impose a fee of 5% per month on the bills of their customers.

The austerity measures was adopted at the Greek Parliament six months ago, its implementation comes as of 1. January 2017.

Given the fact that the Value Added Tax will also be at 24%, the total extra burden for each customer will be 6.2% per month.

PS Look. I don’t complain. There is a land plot full of stones next to my home. I have found out recently that under each stone there is one euro. So I don’t mind the hikes – wherever they come from and for which purpose.

  1. The answer is easy KTG. The hikes are one of the tools of the 4th Reich to loot the country. You can do without internet and telephone, can’t you? These are unnecessary things for the slaves of the colony.
