Workers at Athens Public Transport Means will stage several work stoppages during the week, September 12 – 15, 2017.
Strike & Work Stoppage schedule:
Tues, Sept 12: Urban train ISPA will operate until 9 p.m.
Wed, Sept 13: Buses and Trolleys will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thu, Sept 14: 24-hour strike by Train and Proastiakos workers. Metro will operate only up/from <Doukissis Plakentias> station. No Metro up/to Athens Airport.
Fri, Sep 15: Urban train ISAP work stoppage between 12 o’ clock noon and 3 p.m.
The Urban train personnel has canceled its work stoppage scheduled for Sept 12 and 15th.
In a statement workers at public transport means said they launch strikes and work stoppages to protest the ways of personnel promotion through interviews, which they consider as outdated method.
