What if a sand storm is sweeping alone a beach and over the sea? Greeks are fearless… up to a certain point, of course.
A woman recorded a sandstorm that swept along the beach of Stomio, between Lamia and Katerini in Central Greece beginning of the week.
At first, swimmers look cool but then they start rushing to get out of the water and the storm strikes with power.
Not all of the swimmers get out of the water though.
The woman who recorded the phenomenon was in the water with a camera.
Later she got out and filmed how a sun umbrella or two were carried away towards the open sea.
According to trikalavoice, the woman who recorded the sandstorm is Maria Ntafou, a local form Trikala.
