  1. So total is 290 seats?

Then ND and PASOK can form a government (152 seats), everybody is happy, no?

  2. Sadly, with the undeservedly still-too-strong performance of ND and the undemocratic 50 seat bonus, the only change will be that the Indebted Greeks party (hehe!) will join the government. Damn. A new leadership, led by Syriza, would at least have offered a chance for a renewal of Greek politics, even though Tsipras wouldn’t be able to make Euros grow on olive trees, neither, of course. But with so many ignorant voters supporting Samaras’ hollow promises, there will be only a slight change of course, if at all. A chance missed.

    • Politics can be a growing dynamic or a sharp falling process: SYRIZA had less than 5% in 2009. Todays’ results are excellent. It can lay the ground for future power.
