What kind of a joke is this? I hear the Australian P.M. went on a radio and made a broadcast about the end of the world coming according to the Mayan calender while remaining totally serious though she was doing it as a joke. What is this obsession with the end of the world. A couple of years ago there were billboards and such saying the end of the world was coming on a certain date. The sad thing is there are people who do start believing in this nonsense. A child I knew was losing sleep over it and was skeptical even after I had a word or two with him on the topic. Besides unsuspecting children, there are probably others who start believing in such nonsense too.
A woman I know was considering not to send her children to school today, so they can be all together when the end of the world would come. Her children gave her a lesson, and left her early in the morning for school.
There is currently a shortage of candles and matches in Russia, since people started hoarding them for use AFTER the end of the world, because there would be no elctricity?????

Well, if the end of the world comes from an alien invasion, then blame us Americans. Why did we have to send that CD disk of our earth, our coordinates, our DNA sequence, everything a bad alien race needs to find us and enslave us. I can just see KKE blaming America should the world get invaded by Aliens (Think the movie Battleship)
