According to the report this may have been caused by excessive use of pills or drugs, but could also have been the result of purely pathological causes. The report, however, did exclude the possibility of foul play.
The exact cause of Aslanis’ death is expected to be determined after further medical tests; the results are expected after some twenty days. According to Greek media, Aslanis was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.
Michalis Aslanis was found dead in his Kolonaki apartment, in central Athens, on Wednesday. Aslanis was found by a close aide after he did not return phone calls for several days. he was laying on the floor next to his bed. First reports in the media claimed, he had committed suicide as several handwritten notes were found next to his body.
Michalis Aslanis was allegedly suffering from immense psychological pressure due to debts. He had recently admitted in an interview that he was victim of fraud by two former aides, a Greek and an Albanian woman.
